Well I suppose that's about all one need read to get a sense of the vermin who often participate here.

Your despicable remarks are a transparent glimpse into that rotted, blackened ash urn you call a heart. You have no more sense than the heaven-seeking "martyrs" (complete with 72 virgins waiting for them) who blow themselves up at the family dinners of Jews, and expect a positive result as agents of change.

You mention to Mona that you wish there was something you could do. Well guess what - it turns out that there is. You could apologize for your hateful, racist remarks, and hope that the same restraint which continues to be enacted by a peace-seeking Israel, carries over to the few bloggers who choose to respond to your literary poison. May they find the strength from G-d to recognize that there are many shallow, deceitful, and ignorant people (such as yourslef) in this world, and that strength must come from within.

Israel continues to show courage and wisdom while the Palestinians attempt to extort and manipulate them en route to their REAL goal -- the complete removal of the Jewish State from the middle east. All the rest of this is window dressing -- and the Arabs and their apologists (that's you, Miikey) know it. I don't know how long it takes for the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world to realize it. But as long as Palestinians are willing to fight for greater Palestine in place of a Jewish Israel, I can tell you that Israel will fight longer.

G-d be with you, Mona. Stay safe, and perhaps you will emerge from this ordeal in a position of a closer peace.

Give the soldier back. Recognize and respect your Israeli neighbors.

  • Israel (which it not synonymous with "Jews"....many other religions are present in the political state "Israel") has killed no one but terrorists who wish to destroy and murder since it began this offensive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Summer_Rains#Casualties). Not one Palestinian civilian has been hurt.

we all hope and pray that everyone is ok and the fighting soon stops.

  • Here comes Colin spreading his hate for all things not Jewish.

When the Jews are finished with the Arabs they gonna come get all the natives the world wide or just stick to the plan of taking control of the whole Middle East?

Pushing the hate game is what the Israelis play. you think Arabs should live then you think all Jews should be thrown into the ovens. Makes no sense but that’s how stupid most are that believe what any of these hate mongers say.

We just pasted a UN resolution, Not that Israel cares about Truth or Justice, just go and talk with any JEW living in the territories if they let you, but that resolution gives rights to all aboriginal peoples the world over, so your money bag the US will be coming under attack from within from all the First Nations, Pay up or go back to where your grandparents came from

  • I'm grateful for Mona's blog - telling us about the situation all Palestinians are having to live in. It is everyone's human right to live free from fear and violence - Palestinian and Israeli alike. We're not going to get any closer to achieving human rights for all by expressing hatred and racism.
It is difficult to see the Israeli army's action as anything but a collective punishment on an entire people. To say that no Palestinian civilians have been hurt is bizarre - is it not hurting someone to deprive them of power, fresh water, freedom of movement, freedom from fear.
Mona - I uphold you and your family with love through your struggles. Keep talking to us. It's important that we all realise the reality of violence, not allowing it to be sanitised by mass media.

  • Take your false sympathy and manufactured outrage somewhere else Colin.

The people responsible for this are evil sad murderers and they are Jewish. That is a fact. You can pretend to be all huffy about Miikey's statement, but he said 'these' Jews, not 'all' Jews and sensible, balanced individuals not beholden to some Stone Age idea of their own genetic strain's intrinsic superiority will have seen that at once.

There are good Jews and bad Jews Colin, like everyone else, including the Arabs. Those engaged in this evil work are bad ones, or at the very least potentially good people caught up in bad situations where they contribute to or commit evil acts, like say American soldiers in Iraq.

But you do wonder when there is this endless supply of people ready to defend the indefensible in forums like this, for weeks if necessary, just to get the last word in in order to claim 'victory'. It's pathetic and just quietly, very counterproductive in the end. People hate it you know.

'Israel continues to show courage and wisdom'

You can almost admire such resistance to reality. Almost, but not quite.

    I wish you all strength.

  • Dear Mona,

My first thoughts upon awakening in the morning and my last upon going to sleep at night are for Palestine. I have cried a river for you and all those living under this occupation. I fear there is no hope. On Monday after spending hours following this invasion on Palestinian blogs, human rights sites and Islamic news sites, I decided to see how it was being covered here in the U.S. on MSNBC.com news video. I figured I would be angry at the slant. What I found was nothing at all. There had been no news on that site about Gaza for days and days. Just silence. And it is a very loud silence. Today (july 5) the news is about the quazzam rocket fired into Ashkelon and the horror of the people there. Pictures of the blast show dust and a hole in a courtyard about 2 feet deep by 1 foot wide. Israeli leaders call this an escalation and are using it to justify entering more civilian areas in Gaza. The vast majority of Americans know nothing about the 5000 Israeli missiles shot into Gaza during May. The 3 boys shot while playing soccer. The family killed and maimed while eating dinner. And that the power of these Israili missiles is overwhelming, terrifying and very often deadly. They think that somehow this is a war between equals. Not a war against civilians with no weapons. They think Israel is doing what it must to defend itself against terrorism, not that Israel commits acts of terrorism daily and has now for 60 years. And so I cry and pray that somehow, someday justice will prevail. But I don't see how it ever will. My prayers are with you Mona and your family and friends and all other Palestinians. I pray that someday Americans and Israelis will look in the mirror and realize that they have been wrong and that might does not equal right. Hang in there. Love Ann from Virginia U.S.A.

  • Glenn Condell, "genetic superiority"... LOL. Yeah, only the Jews think that they are good. Certainly no Arab Muslim thinks that.

Yes, Colin. This site shouldn't be called "From Gaza With Love" but rather "To Israel With Hate." The idiot right-wingers (Muslims) hate Israel because of their Stone-Age fairytale book, and the idiots on the idiot left-wingers (phony hippies etc.) hate Israel because the so-called "palestinians" have made themselves suffer and make it look like it's the fault of THE JOOOOZ!

All the carping about the United Nothing and their resolutions. First of all, the are NON-BINDING. Second, if the Arabs recognized the UN, they would have never invaded Israel to begin with, and there would have never been a refugee problem. And third, the UN has also "resolved" that it is illegal to fire rockets into another country, kidnapped soldiers, settlers, and other sub-humans, bomb innocent civilians, and hide militants among civilian areas. All of these violations are part of the "palestinian" modus operandi. In fact, without them, the Arabs would have no war at all. THEN they would HAVE to do what Mandella, King, and Gandhi did: work peacefully for justice and peace, and they would WIN.

It's been over one week since Hamas kidnapped Shalit and STILL show NO sign of returning him. They WANT Israel to invade and go house-to-house.

They say they might even send Shalit to another country. Oh, that would be just dandy. Then Israel could bomb the hell out of THAT country.

Did I just read in Dr. El-farra's blog that she has a laptop and a cell phone? Funny, I thought all the palestinians were starving?

    "Neutral" Sam (shyeah right) vomits:

Here comes Colin spreading his hate for all things not Jewish.

Funny I didn't read that in anything he said.

When the Jews are finished with the Arabs they gonna come get all the natives the world wide or just stick to the plan of taking control of the whole Middle East?

Yeah they gonna come and take Morocco next, shithead. What an idiot. Israel gave back the Sinai, gave back the six-mile buffer zone in Lebannon, tried to give Arafat Gaza and 80% of the West Bank (inculding East Jerusalem) and Sharon DID give back Gaza. And every step along the way lying liars like you scream "They're taking more land! They're taking more land!" What an idiot. The "Arab world" is about 100 times bigger than all of Israel, so just STFU you Jew-hating loser.

Pushing the hate game is what the Israelis play.

Yes, it is readily apparent that no-one else EVER does that. Certainly not Neutered Sam.

...you think Arabs should live then you think all Jews should be thrown into the ovens.

WTF? Are you talking about some other blog you read somewhere? You're not making sense.

Makes no sense but that’s how stupid most are that believe what any of these hate mongers say.

Yes, it makes no sense. What YOU said.

We just pasted a UN resolution,

We did? How about that UN resolution they passed back in '48 that STARTED this situation?

Not that Israel cares about Truth or Justice,

Of course, only Arabs care about Truth and Justice. Israel just WANTSTOTAKEOVERTHEWORLD! As explained in The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion, right?

...just go and talk with any JEW living in the territories if they let you,

Yes, the evil JEW will tell you that only a JEW should be allowed to live and that JEWS should be able to take all the land and the JEWS should be able to eat all the palestinians they want because they are the JEWS and they are great. Is that what the sub-human "settlers" told you?

... but that resolution gives rights to all aboriginal peoples the world over,

Well, that's very good news indeed for the Coptic Christians of Egypt and Syria. I guess maybe NOW it will be illegal to kill them, even if for "honor." And the good pepole of Sudan can also rejoice: the invading, occupying Arab settlers that have ruined their lives will have to stop killing them too. Sure, it's too late for 2 MILLION of their countrymen, but who gives a damn about two-million murdered black non-Muslims? Certainly not the good so-called "bleeding hearts here" and certainly not the toothless United Nothing in all their OIC-dominated glory.

Hey, when will the United Nothing pass a resolution calling for equality for all women, including the Right To Choose? Oh, that's right; they can't: Iran and Suadi Arabia won't let them.

"All indigenous peoples"... what a a laugh. So China is going to leave Tibet? Turkey is going to leave Cyprus? Turkey is going to leave Kurdistan? Morocco will quit Western Sahara?

What a pipe dream. The United Nothing wastes about 1/4 of their time making up news lies about Israel while MILLIONS of people are being murdered in the name of religion.

...so your money bag the US will be coming under attack from within from all the First Nations, Pay up or go back to where your grandparents came from

Yeah, that's reeeeeally going to happen. BTW did you know that in order to be granted refugee status, the Arabs of "palestine" only had to live there for TWO years? "Go back to where your grandparents came from" indeed. If they'd gone back to where THEY came from, this situation would have been settled decades ago. But "pride" makes people do strange things. They just COULDN'T admit that they lost the war of '48 and STILL can't admit it.

The Worlds Watching Israel and not liking what we See!

Too bad that what "the Worlds Watching" isn't worth anything. Israel will be Israel until Iran nukes it, period. Because only Israel is willing to talk about compromise.

    Love,

    "Edhi", the Liberal Zionist

PS... I can prove I'm not Jewish by saying God. God, god, god, god, god. No such thing as god, allah, etc.

PSS...I-Love-Munchen, "god" didn't kill me this weekend, despite the fact that I spent four days alone in the woods! See? I told you. LOL... to most of you the phrase "forty-two miles in 100-degree heat in Florida in July" is just a sentence. To me, it was an adventure. It is most disgusting to hear almost all of them agree ... with everybody only taking care of the own position and situation of "pleasing" the MAIN-supporter, the US!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7/05/2006 4:18 PM

  • First of all, Ann in Virginia is a g.d. liar. I just checked msnbc.com and the current situation in Gaza was the FIRST headline, with another link under "World News" in the second spot. It was the third headline story at cnn.com, and the fourth at yahoo.com. It's been headline news on ALL of these sites since Shalit was (illegally) kidnapped by Hamas and their adherents.

Second, let's deconstruct this pithy rant, then I have to get to work so my taxes can fund the Israel-bashing United Nothing and send 60 billion dollars a year in aid to South Korea and 80 billion to NATO.

Take your false sympathy and manufactured outrage somewhere else Colin.

I could say the same thing to the Leftist Israel bashers and Rightist Jew bashers here.

The people responsible for this are evil sad murderers and they are Jewish.

So it was THE JOOOZ that kidnapped Cpl. Shalit and took him into hiding in Gaza? Okaaaaay.

    That is a fact.

Sure is. Jews kidnapped Shalit a week ago and are refusing to return him, even though doing so is against the resolutions of the mighty United Nations.

You can pretend to be all huffy about Miikey's statement, but he said 'these' Jews, not 'all' Jews and sensible, balanced individuals not beholden to some Stone Age idea of their own genetic strain's intrinsic superiority will have seen that at once.

I can just imagine your outrage when someone points out that "those Arabs" in Israel are the ones that started all of this. And they too are beholden to some Stone Age idea of their own RELIGIOUS intrinsic superiority. That's why THEY seek converts. Jews do not seek converts. Actually none of the decent relgions seek converts; Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, and Jains do not seek converts. Only bible-thumpers and Koran-thumpers seek converts.

There are good Jews and bad Jews Colin, like everyone else, including the Arabs.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to name some of those "bad" Arabs, would you? Like maybe the men that send Kassam rockets ever-deeper into Israel. The odds are against us... sooner or later one of those Kassams is going to hit a school that is full of kids, or a nursery, or a hospital... and when it does.... oh my. I hope Dr. El-farra will be able to get to safety.

Those engaged in this evil work are bad ones, or at the very least potentially good people caught up in bad situations where they contribute to or commit evil acts, like say American soldiers in Iraq.

Or the Arab janjaweed in Sudan? It is as absurd for you to cite the Israelis and Americans for murder while ignoring the Sudan crisis as it would be for policemen to target jaywalkers while murderers and rapists are ignored.

I made this same challenge to a Jew-basher at another blog and he "didn't have the time" to get back to me. There have been dozens of instances in the past fifty years of Muslim armies committing atrocities... can you cite any case of a Muslim soldier being punished for a war crime by his own nation? America and Israel do it routinely. Now I realize that you think that Muslims never go to war unless they are invaded, so let me tell you a few times when they didn't:

    Egypt-Yemen war, '50s
    Iran-Iraq war, '80s
    Pakistan rapes Bangladesh, '70s
Indonesia lay waste to East Timor, '70s
Pakistan kills 100,000 Hindus in Kashmir, 1990-present
    Algeria kills 100,000 moderates, 1900-present
Arabs murder two-MILLION in Sudan, 1983-present

...okay, so that's millions of murders by Muslim nations. Surely you can find 10 cases of a Muslim soldier being charged, tried, found guilty, and punished by his own nation, right? I'll wait.

Now the next phrase is one that I could have uttered regarding the Israel bashers here:

But you do wonder when there is this endless supply of people ready to defend the indefensible in forums like this, for weeks if necessary, just to get the last word in in order to claim 'victory'. It's pathetic and just quietly, very counterproductive in the end. People hate it you know.

Indeed. And likewise back atcha, dupe:

You can almost admire such resistance to reality. Almost, but not quite.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • My dear Mona,

Please know that we shed our tears with you. But, we are praying for peace constantly. As an American Christian, I know that God is not pleased with the Israelis. There are many people in the U.S. who are working diligently, praying, writing letters, protesting, etc. in faith and hope that the world will begin to understand how greatly the "oppressed - Israel, have now become the oppressers."

We love you! And, we hold you near and dear to our hearts. Please know that there are many in the world who do care and we are working hard each and every day for change!!!

    God be with you.

By Blogger Halla, at 7/05/2006 4:55 PM

  • People seem either unable or unwilling to grasp the REAL nature of this conflict. Ready for a dose of truth? Ready to hear what very few people (and no Arabs) are willing to say? Here it comes...

This conflict is not a political one -- it is a RELIGIOUS one !!!

Sovereign Israel, in whatever form it ultimately takes, will still never realize a full and just peace with the Arabs. It will always be a lighning rod for the wounded pride of countless Arabs who seek a rebirth of their Saladin-era glory, and Pan-Arab aspirations. Is there a blogger who reads Mona's blog (Jew or Muslim alike) who doubts this? Jews being in control of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv is an unacceptable affront to the humility of the Arab people.

So then ask yourself, if I am the PM of Israel, what steps must I take to ensure the health and prosperity of MY people while advancing an impossible peace process. Giving land back with nothing in return (SEE: Gaza withdrawl) is now proven to simply bring your enemies geographically closer to you. Leaving the Judea and Samaria unilaterally complicates it further.

So here we are. An Israeli public long since exhausted with an impossible peace among neighbors who seek to destroy it. A Palestinian public who overwhelmingly elects a terrorist cabal sworn to Israel's removal in lieu of an Islamic Holy Land. And a United Nations who, to put it mildly, has neither the wisdom or relevance to help either side. And finally, a Palestinian militancy whose best solution for change management is to extort its neighbor by illegally abducting its soldier, and firing hundreds of rockets into uncontested, soveriegn Israel DAILY.

As I said earlier, you people baffle me with your twisted logic and revisionist ideaology. It's a simple process:

    1. Give back Shalit. The Gaza offensive would stop that very afternoon.

    2. Recognize Israel's right to exist as a sovereign Jewish State.

    3. Stop all violence. Israel would welcome such a move with an equal stand-down of hostilities. This must also include the incitement which has become the bedrock of your childrens' education.

    4. Build a country and a future. Rebuild Gaza. Work with Israel to take on the bulk of Judea and Samaria after that.

Jews want peace. Jews deserve peace.

Palestinians have a right to a just and viable country of their own living side by side with its neighbor Israel. Are they willing or able to receive it?

    --

Release the soldier. Recognize and respect your neighbor Israel.

  • Hey Jew-haters--oops! I mean "Israel Haters" of course--they Gaza situation is STILL headline news at cnn.com and I found this other little gem. But first, quick question: More children were killed today by a) Israel or b) Somalia? That's right, the answer is Somalia. But who cares? We live to complain about Israel, not deaths per se nor deaths of children per se.

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) -- Radical Islamic militia fighters in central Somalia shot and killed two people at the screening of a banned World Cup soccer broadcast while dispersing the crowd of teenagers watching it, an independent radio station reported Wednesday.

The Islamic fighters, who have banned such entertainment, opened fire after the teenagers defied their orders to leave the cinema that was screening the Germany-Italy match, Shabelle Radio reported. It said the dead were a girl and the cinema owner.

....and the really sad part is that none of you would care if the "Islamists" had killed 2, or 2 dozen, or 2 score, or 2 hundred, or 2 thousand. You just don't care. Your cause celebre is the so-called "plight" of the so-called "palestinians". You have forgotten the horrors of Tibet, Bangladesh, Iran/Iraq, the Taliban's treatment of their own women, the ongoing massacre in Sudan, the 4 million killed in Zaire, the hundreds of thousands of murdered children in Uganda, etc.

America helps Israel for the same reason that we (and it was OUR initiative ALONE) helped the Muslims of Yugoslavia. Israel needs our help and I am proud of my nation that we give them help and guess what: even if America DID cut off aid to Israel, Israel would continue to exist in defiance of Islam. The only way you're going to get rid of Israel is to nuke it. Go ahead, the Palestinians won't care. They feed their children to the war machine every chance they can get.

The only way out is my Baja Plan or some variant thereof, but nobody wants to talk about that; presumably because it wouldn't punish DA JOOOOZ enough.

Back in Golden '93, when the Palestinians accepted Israel's generous offers for peace and self-determination, they THRIVED. Money poured in from all over the world (including Israel I might add) and they built roads, hospitals, sent their kids to college in America (I know because I had Palestinian colleagues) etc. And then Ariel Sharon wanted to visit the Al-aqsa mosque and ALL OF A SUDDEN the PLO et al. had all these HUNDREDS of bombs ready and dozens of martyrs pouring into Israel to murder Jewish civilians... seems the Palestinians weren't using ALL of their welfare handouts to build things and buy food. What a surprise.

The palestinians are suffering, to be sure, and like most sympathetic human beings, I feel for them and wish an end to their suffering. But the end to their suffering will not come by trying to blame their troubles on Israel and it will not come by encouraging terrorism or dismissing terrorist activity.

When the Palestinians are really ready for peace, they will lay down arms and receive peace. When they are ready for real war, they will cut Cpl. Shalit's throat and show it on cyberspace. Who wants to bet money on what's going to happen?

Here's an idea.... why doesn't Israel kidnap a Palestinian and say, "We'll give you Ahmed in exchange for Shalit. Whatever you do to Shalit, we do to Ahmed." Oh, wait, I remember why. It's against the law.

    ********************************

    Karin laments:

The day will come when all this is over and the oppressor will be punished.

It looks to me like the oppressor is being punished NOW. But like I said, when they cut Shalit's throat, that's when the punishment is REALLY going to start. It's going to be like slapping a grizzly bear. And the best thing will be if Iran, Syria, etc. join in. Then you'll see what America can really do. Please, God, if you really exist, let Iran, Syria, Egypt, and the rest of the caveman patriarchal theocracies get into war with America. Please. We are begging for an excuse.

    *********************************

BTW Ann? I did find one major news site that didn't mention the Israeli incursion into Gaza, at least not in the headlines: Fox News. This shouldn't come as a surprise, but I know something that will: an Arab recently bought 10% of it. So it is AT LEAST 10% Arab owned. You explain it.

  • LOL... Yugoslavia... Milosevic's henchmen RAPED 40,000 Muslim women and girls. NO ONE GAVE A DAMN EXCEPT BILL CLINTON. Saudi Arabia didn't send ONE PENNY or ONE FIGHTER to Yugoslavia.

The Yugoslavian Muslims spoke the language of their oppressors, lived amongst them, wore the same clothes... they could have very easily had a Jihad and NO ONE would have blamed them. But they didn't. Why? Because they were civilized human beings living in a (up to that point) civilized nation. Bin Laden didn't give a damn, he was in Sudan helping to murder millions of indigenous black Africans. Iran didn't care. Iraq didn't care. Pakistan didn't care. NOBODY CARED. 40,000 rapes and hundreds of thousands murdered.

Hah... all you Muslims and Hippies would crap yourselves in rage if the IDF raped FOUR Muslim girls and you didn't even mutter a peep when Milosevic and his thugs raped 40,000. It took a good, humanist, liberal like Bill Clinton to send NATO in to stop the genocide (and Democracy Now! has been complaining about it every since.)

None of you gave a damn when the Saudi Morality Police burned 17 Muslim girls to death when they were trying to leave their burning school and in their haste forgot to don those ridiculous headscarves designed to stop Muslim lunatics from raping them. GIRLS! Burned to DEATH. And YOU did not care; and still don't care.

Lie, whine, spin, carp, dissemble, and shill about Israel ALL YOU WANT. It won't change the fact that Israel will do it's best to survive and protect it's people from terrorist attacks. The lies you tell about Israel are not as bad as the truth about Saudi Arabia (talk about an Apartheid State) Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, etc. And as long as I am here, I'm going to call you on it.

    **********************************

Dr. El-Farra, I hope that you are okay and I wish that you would try to convince your fellow Arabs that they will not defeat Israel and it would serve EVERYONES interest to lay down arms like Dr. King, Gandhi, and Nobel Laureate Mandela, and USE peace to achieve peace.

  • To the anonymous ranter: I am not a liar. Re-read what I said. On Monday July 3 there was no video news on MSNBC video on this current Israeli invasion. Nor was there any on Sunday, Saturday or Friday. Friday I actually watched the whole MSNBC newshour (1/2 hour) with Brian Williams. Nothing. I wasn't checking other sites. MSNBC.com video is where I get most of my mainstream news since I elect not to have cable. I KNOW there are headlines today. That's because of the Quassam rocket that landed in Ashkelon and the tiny hole it made in a school courtyard. There is no comparison between these attacks. None at all. Stop ranting please and just go to work. It is painfully obvious that you are extremely racist towards Arabs and Muslims in general. Racism is never the answer. Tolerance, compassion, love and recognition of our shared humanity is. And BTW most of us who care about Palestinians also care about the millions of other innocents around the world who are dying or who have died by the guns and bombs of soldiers. That includes Iraq, Sudan, Chechnya, Tibet, and on and on -- not just todays atrocities but historic atrocities too -- including the Holocaust. We care very much. Do you? Ann from VA U.S.A.

  • Anonymous, you are right on! The Lefties are total hypocrites.

I am a "Jooooo," and I cared DEEPLY about the Bosnian Muslim women who were being herded into rape camps. I worked with a Croatian Muslim woman in the states and we canvassed people for signatures on petitions that we sent to Congress asking them to PLEASE get involved and save these women and girls. I am an RN who was granted permission to take a sabbatical from my job to go to Bosnia and provide medical care, but the medical team that I was to go with called off the trip at the last minute saying that the hospitals there did not feel they could utilize us as staffers. I organized groups to collect needed items, boxed them up, and sent them to Bosnian Muslim women. I gathered in the town square of my city many, many times in public protests.

Guess who was there with me? Dozens of Muslims and about five Christians and Jews. Where were the LIBERALS??? Where were the human rights groups? They weren't there, because THEY DIDN'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS about Muslims. When I confronted my Leftie friends about their silence, they chided me for "wanting to be the world's policeman" and tried to make me feel ashamed for my compassion. That was the predominant attitude of the Left. The only reason that Leftie Loonie Liberals are shilling for the Palis now is because THEY HATE JEWS and not because they care about Palestinians.

My heart goes out to the Bosnian Muslims. They were truly a peaceful people who did not deserve the hell that they endured, are still enduring. The Palis are a different animal altogether. I'm sick to death of their murderous ways. They bring it all on themselves and then have the audacity to blame the Israelis and Americans. But world opinion is turning against them -- just read the polls coming out of Europe. Palis, you're losing the PR war. And it's about time.

  • Ann, of COURSE I care. If I didn't I wouldn't listen to Democracy Now and I would've never even heard of From Gaza With Love.

You are splitting hairs over the alleged dearth of coverage in US media re: Israeli incursion into Gaza. YOU are the one that said there was no coverage. I didn't realize that you only considered "video" to be coverage. To me, written print is also coverage, but then again I hate tv and I hate video "news footage."

I am not racist towards Arabs. Arabs are Caucasians, just like me. I am not racist towards Muslims. Muslims are not any one race. I do not like Islam and the things that SOME Muslims do. I dislike Islam as a whole for the same reason I despise the KKK: they are conservative idiots that hate feminists, hate homosexuals, hate Jews, hate Hindus, hate science, hate uppity women, hate environmentalists, hate animal rights activists, hate atheists, liberals, and secularists, etc. etc. etc.

I realize that not all Muslims are like this; I majored in a natural science (the hardest one) and I work in the engineering field. One cannot do either without encountering lots of Muslims. I have had a good many Muslim friends; they were all moderate if not outright secular/atheists. This includes Arabs, Persians, Berbers, black Africans, Malaysians, and those from the Indian subcontinent, men and women.

Muslims in general and Arabs in particular are well-known by decent, educated people everywhere (including me) to be hard-working, clean, honest, charitable, etc. etc. and in America especially, most of them have a keen interest in higher education, especially for their beloved children. Many if not most study medicine, science, and engineering. One of my IDOLS was an (atheist) Arab: Mr. Frank Zappa.

Don't call me a racist, my dear. I am descended from Vikings and Irish; my ex-wife is black and Mexican. My beloved daughters are mulatto and any racist who insults them will pay for his indiscretion with his life. If you are like most terrorism apologists, I was a already a feminist, bleeding heart liberal, tree-hugging vegetarian, and human rights activist when you were still on your mother's teat.

I've spent my entire life "south of the line." I have told rednecks and racists that I am proud to be a liberal, proud to support equal rights for homosexuals, and proud to be an animal lover. You can stand up at campus and scream at Hillel or David Whor-owitz all you want; let's see you go out and tell a bunch of hunters/ex-cons/bikers/construction workers/US Marines that you don't share their prejudices when one of the tells a joke about "darkies", "stupid (c-word)s" and "faggots."

I've DONE that, to all groups mentioned above. It's easy to shout in cyberspace or chant from an ivory tower; go do it in the real world and then get back with me. Go into a Mosque and tell them that Allah made ALL human beings equal and they should let women preach in their mosque. Tell them that homosexuals are people too and that they should welcome gay men into their mosques. Tell them that they should embrace liberal ideals of gender parity and a woman's right to chose abortion. Tell THEM that Muslim women should be free to marry non-Muslim men. Go ahead, walk your talk sweetheart. Let me know how it went.

...BTW most of us who care about Palestinians also care about the millions of other innocents around the world who are dying.... (yadayadayada)

...So why are you here lying about Israel? Why does Democracy Now have dozens of stories about Israel for every mention of Sudan? (Check the archives link, it's probably more like HUNDREDS of stories about Israel for every one about Sudan.) Why do 50% of my fellow liberals think that the worst humanitarian crisis facing the world today is that of the palestinians and their self-inflicted wounds? Please answer, I reeeeeeally want to know.

    **********************************

    More on MLK...

The genius of Dr. King was that he used traditional, deep-rooted American values like freedom, self-detemination, individualism, liberty, etc. to CHANGE America for the better. King didn't change black Americans, he changed WHITE Americans. He FORCED his oppressors to recognize the humanity of their black citizens.

And he did it without inciting violence, ie. he did NOT give his oppressors a "reason" to attack him and his followers. When the cracker rabble did attack him, the Freedom Riders, etc. the rest of white America recoiled in horror at the brutality... we felt the plight of our black fellow Americans, and embraced the ideals of Dr. King's vision of equality.

(And btw... did you know that Dr. King said that "anti-Zionism" was the same as "anti-Semitism", an excuse to hate Jews?)

The same with Gandhi and Mandela. They used the system that oppressed them to show the oppressors that they were wrong. You had Israel convinced at one time, the Bill Clinton era. You were offered 95% of your demands and Arafat walked away without so much as a counter offer. Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia BEGGED Arafat to take the offer. He called Arafat refusal "a crime against the Palestinian people."

Now are there those among us who would have me believe that the Saudi royal family are "Zionist Pawns" too? Please don't write back telling me how ignorant I am. If I want to know how ignorant I am I can look at my BS (magna cum laude) in Physics. Don't TELL me I'm ignorant, SHOW me where I'm wrong.

  • Mona I hope you and your daughter are asleep at the moment.
    You need your strength.
I hope you will find your friend alright.
We have prayer chains going for you and all your people.
Be assured we stand in solidarity with you. It makes us so helpless and all we can do is write and write and hope our letters (your words) are being printed in various newspapers..

We are still watching your terrible news, which of course is overshadowed with North Koreas missile launch, space launch yesterday, Ken Delay death some more unimportant stuff and on the end some Gaza news. However I’m thrilled to read (internet) that people in Europe, the US, Australia and elsewhere demonstrating big time against Israel’s behavior.

Anyone who thinks the little soldier boy is the issue here, is totally brainwashed.
Little soldier boy was kidnapped just so conveniently…to let the real war begin.
Stop crying and demanding to release the boy.
Israel has to show restraint before they can be taking seriously.
I even wonder if the little soldier boy was actually kidnapped! This is an age-old trick to get ones point across. There is nothing Israel won’t do or find reason’s to eradicate the Palestinians.

Mona, I am so proud of you. You are teaching the world a lesson they can never comprehend. Staying strong and tall under unimaginable circumstances and still your Blog says: from “Gaza with love”

Mona, there are many Jews who despise what is being done unto you. They too, are overpowered by the evil Zionist who have forgotten what happened to their ancestors some sixties years ago.

And for that the world is starting to HATE the Jews again…no wonder Anti-Semitism is on the rise.

God will punish his “chosen people” soon and chase them out their “Promised land”!

  • American Jewess: Where were the LIBERALS??? Where were the human rights groups? They weren't there, because THEY DIDN'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS about Muslims...

....whoa, there Bessy. I am a liberal. And you remember who ended the genocide and the rapes, right? Bill Clinton? I recall YOUR side, the con-reps, screaming about "the worlds policemen" and Trent Lott saying (on the senate floor no less) "I support the troops but not the president." So you can get off that crap right now. Wesley Clark LED the NATO campaign that toppled Milosevic's evil empire, not Gay W. Bush and candy-assed Tommy Franks (who let Bin Laden slip away in Afghanistan btw.)

At least most "liberals" have been consistent in their opposition to war. YOUR side wants war, any war, while President Gump needs to distract from his failed policies at home ...but HATE war when the president's name ends in (-D) (does "Somalia" ring a bell?)

Clinton bombed the HELL out of Al-qaeda in Afghanistan and Sudan, and YOUR side was the one that screamed "He's wagging the dog" and made him stop. Don't revise history for me; I remember it like it was only 10 years ago.

You should be justifiably proud of your stand for the innocent Muslims of Yugoslavia. Jews all over the world take interest in the suffering of all innocent people everywhere. Even as recent as five years ago the only place anyone of any standing in America was talking about the Sudanese genocide was at the US Holocaust Museum in DC.

Please remember that I am neither Jewish nor conservative. I support Jews and I support Israel because I believe in hard work, human rights, liberal ideals, questioning authority, and science. Jews have always led the way.

I don't want Yaweh's blessing; I want the blessing of Richard Feynman, Einstein, Freud, Wittgenstein, and Baruch Spinoza.

Sure they made offers in the past but they still moved in settlers.Hatefilled srttlers at that why else would the world council of churches have to send in the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel

Then these nice peacefull Jewish people spit on the preists beat the children all the while the Israel army watches.

I guess the calling of the churches anti semitic so I guess they hate the Palestinians too, as they are children of Shem. lol silly people

    With Loves

    --

    translated text :

Did those which were called themselves "Nazis" with pride at their time, start around them the same revulsion as today? Not. Only the historical retreat makes it possible to associate this term with that of Genocide.
When one shows the other of "Nazi" nowadays, it shows it to be at the origin of a potential apocalypse (if its ideas were deployed), and what there is moreover violent one in this qualifier, it is not the word "Nazi" but the supposed ignorance who germinates in a dangerous way and mind.
Thus that which insults places him as superior compared to the other and is done itself to show same evil, not without reason since the process which I have just described is subjacent in truth. Subjacent, and subconscious. I.e. that it is transferred in the other brain, which must be well defended of this illicit transfer, because it regards it as inadmissible.

    The question is double:
    - was this so serious to be Nazi at this far time
    - what is the modern form of Nazism? - which is not necessarely easily detectable today

    1. It is certain that at the time there were not only two groups of populations, the malicious ones and the nice ones, the evil and the good. This vision too much simple has for only utility only to facilitate the work of the lazy and unable brain.
One can say that there were those which were immersed in this disease pathopsychosocial, these, are as much victims as the schizophrenic ones or the killers having made war crimes as of their childhood. Those which joined with this group by choice, them are a little more guilty, since they preferred the tender in all conscience with a mental blindness which had as a function, always the same one, to facilitate the reflective thought, to be appropriate socially of a catalyst for their neurosis. In these dominate-dominated groups, dominated give in a ill-considered way the responsibility for their thought to the insane one which masturbates mentally in front of them, under their energetic applause.
The other group "opposite" could be qualified the resistant ones, because they refused the appropriation by others of what led their psycho-emotional development, of which nobody at the time had raised the cardinal importance, since it is it which rebalances the intelligence...

Today still, although science already concluded that, the people are unaware of it, and continue to believe in the vehemence of their dear politicians. But the principal group which acted without the knowledge was that which the statisticians name "the undecided ones": those which are without opinion, or in fact, two others additives groups: - those which do not think anything of it and which thus do not act; - and those which have a personal thought reflective worked out but which yields with the requirements of their time.
This great group is finally amply majority, impotent, easily easy to handle, and soft like a lamb, in short like any people, on any planet... Its nonrevolt, its indecision and its inexperience are finally much more responsible for the free rise of the Nazism than their actors psychopathogenic, opposite which a very minority group of disarmed and reducing intellectuals, oppressed, the resistant ones, have only very few chances to leave itself there, unless they do not manage to stimulate a sudden alarm clock of the masses.
As what occurs, for the world scale, in this moment in Latin America, consecutively at several centuries of lies and crimes orchestrated against the "poor" (those which live in the forests or their grounds being regarded in an unhealthy way as the poor).

    2. What fury nowadays? How is it implemented, of what consists tyranny? These words which appear obsolete, were never decontaminated in the facts. Only they remained associated these times remote and spent, completed, solved, making believe in a "modernity" which shows white leg; who gives good conscience.
When a mass of dismissals takes place for example, it returns to the suicide or at least to the psychological shock a whole group of people, under the terms of a marketing strategy in which they however took part. Moral violence can then be defined as being this relationship between the reason to act and the act.
But also, there is worse, the refusal of the entirety of the accomplished act is a violence even more pernicious and painful, "a second layer". For example if it remains estimated that the setting in quarantine the workmen is not so serious, that they have only to find another job, that if they do not make it they are lazy, that fall like an insult after the asséné shock. In this case, one comes to describe what is licitly qualifiable of "brutality" or d"agression".
Israel practises this moral violence in a way quite as lunatic towards his/her brothers Palestinians (we'r all brothers and sisters). Us, by far one can think that they were stimulated, or influenced, by the way of making dictatorial of the United States: that is very visible. But before coming from there to the way as of the United States justifies Israel to behave like them, so "making modern", while being without the knowledge victims of a handling the purpose of which is the sale of weapon decorated with a all the more disgusting scorn as during this time, the world thoughts is diverted of Iraq where the American intervention made the effect of another silencious carnage (there too one could attend the resurgence of physical violence in more of psychological), before coming from there there, one can already study israelian violence: how it is dissimulated hypocritically.

Indeed, although holder of a thousands of Palestinian prisoners, among whom statesmen, Israel finds in the removal of only one, yes only one of its soldiers as an affront which it cannot support. That is precisely called terrorism, insofar as terror, makes disproportionate the reasons to act, because of minuses reasons.
In same time they show the others of terrorism, although those do not make that to defend oneself with weapons manufactured artisanally, where Israel profits from the signal of American technology. With the large injury of EADS and France which would have liked to obtain this market of the fighters... Let us see terror now that they spread with these tools: In addition to the fact of drawing shamelessly on a Palestinian beach with a warship, Israel will deny to have been informed of these intrigues. It is not so much the lie which the affront which constitutes a moral violence. This violence, is much more terrible than if it were physical, since the victims, all the people noted symbolically, remain traumatized by an incomprehensible inconsistancy inseminated in their thought. When a small girl who returns from the school is killed in the back under pretext which it is supposed to carry a bomb in her bag, the emotion still strangles Palestinian which is not yet to wonder why the soldier was drawing while declaring "the problem is regulated, OVER, ahaha!" or even why then, if there were a bomb in the bag, has it to draw with through...
Another violence consists in using the advanced technology to destroy the infrastructures only at the time when they make sure that there is nobody any more inside. Not only the quantity of died of shares and others does not have any common measurement (a ratio of 1000 perhaps), but which-more-is, they aim between people. In this manner the international community reports only material destruction, without much range on the emotions of people who look at the tele one, which makes it possible to disguise the crime made: to cut the roads, the bridges, the power station, the hospitals... While the sound aggression which consists in making "Bangs" (crossing of the wall of the sound) in a continual way, it, does not have even its place in the topicality so much that seems "minor", whereas his real goal is the propagation of the terror, to prevent from sleeping (meaning obvious bad conscience by procuration, i.e. whose attacker is demolished, and which he stimulates at his victim).
Another form of moral violence is visible in a testimony of a traveller being returned into Palestinian then while having returned: of very great value, this testimony shows at the same time how much the electronic "gadgets" are "noncareful", badly studied, or rather studied to cause troubles, concern, and various rises of stress.

Let us return to some practices made in the USA (Mad in the USA) used in Guantanamo. I think of the diffusion of a music of Beatles, with a sound volume making deaf, and buckles some for one length of time made to make insane. But that is not as insidious as they of it are not able, separate makes it obviously that that is difficult to report, and that the caused lesion is difficult to evaluate. Parallelism with the operation "bangs in the night" is obvious! However it is almost certain that these two emergences (solutions) are not bound by the same chief of war, but by the same insanity.

Psychological violence is the whole of the means making it possible to obtain lesions whose torturers themselves are not informed real conscience or, it is especially as that which I would define the new nazism. In fact by the quasi animal experimentation, "one would say" who them subconscious subjected to others what they refuse to undergo themselves, like seeing the effect that that made, and thus smelling themselves some released; i.e. cured. One of the madnesses first of modern civilizations were L bad management of waste which caused then diseases, which A made it possible to discover the existence of the "microbes". I think that it is the same thing which occurs, but in a psychological dimension. In fact microbes develop because the bad method to demolish itself some consists in projecting them on others. That is perfectly coherent with the principle of holocaust, i.e. who arrives so only one allows an ineptitude, and (thus) so potentially everyone made similar. And not only that is practical in an odious and inconsistent way, but that is, as in all the cases of psychopathology, turned over against attacked, which are pointed finger as being very bad and unpleasant people.
This manner of proceeding is characteristic. It has as a triple effect to minimize the crimes committed in their opposition, to excuse these crimes, and especially to confer a certain logic to them: who spreads himself in the ingenuous spirits since those see only fire there. And consequently, it adhere to it, of the simple fact that it are not opposed there or that they do not have the means of criticizing them, means which proceed of a true science. --- Thus one can return to international apathy vis-a-vis to the exactions made on people without defense and stigmatized with complicity and condescension with the group with apathetic, them "without opinion". This same "journalism" which had been made for letter of nobility not deform the information which came to him found completely accusable complicity of crime against humanity because precisely owing to the fact that they did not know to analyze the information which came to them. Thus they distilled in the population the state of minds or "programming ideas" which were with the work of this new form of insidious nazism.

These "programming ideas" being a complex whole and nondependent between them of various facts the purpose of which are unconscious the preparation with acceptance of a coarse lie. (the fact that I use the past in this sentence is with therapeutic goal, eh yes!) For example without "terrorism" + "AlQuaida" (which is a word invented by the CIA, now one knows it), + "axis of the evil", the attack of World Trade Centre (World Center of the Trade = "nerve center") would have left so much perplexed that the arguments which tend to prove that its origin is American in truth would have been visible good earlier. But there too, it does not matter the moral ill-treatment, the obvious foutage of mouth, the goal of the operation being only which one needs 10 years minimum to the people to react, which leaves time to adapt the markets necessary to the survival of the capitalist system (or with the satisfaction of Being able).
If I told my personal history you would see that it is exactly the same one as what arrives at the world, except that that led me to me to insulate some during many years to be able to think of it lengthily. The problem is that the international community will not have this luxury. Already China and Russia adopt, with a train of delay, "to be in the blow", the psycho-dictatorial methods emitted and instilled by the United States. In fact themselves are not directly responsible, but they represent its figure nicely if as well is as capitalism, the attraction of the capacity, the alloy of that one with the Money, are the cradle of this madness which floods humanity in a new loss of collective reason. This system being thus vitiated, it becomes a macro-virus insofar as its only goal is the holistic destruction of the body which contains it. Which is this body?

  • Hi let's everyone STOP and consider a situation...

You're told by the UN that Canada is headed towards a humanitarian crisis if they continue to shoot rockets into America, and that the only way to secure funding to help you out of your path to crisis is if violence is discontinued.

So then instead of using the two billion dollar economic aid you recieve every year (let's pretend there are only 1.5million people in Canada...) to build infrastructure, Canada instead uses it to buy More rockets and Continues violent rocket firing AND takes hostage an American soldier...

So wait, what do you think America's response would be to Canada?

I read your blog everyday, I have you in my prayers.

Some of the comments posted in response to your blog are total lies to justify the current policies of Israel.
For any of you out there who is interested in really understanding the true history, please go to this site and get an education. The arab did not create the refugee problem. The Palastinian were forced out of their homes by terror or trickery. They lived on this land for centuries, only to be driven out by zionist born in Poland, Baltic, Germany or Russia among other european countries.

This land was not given to the Jewish people by GOD, It was given to them by the British.

Mono I wish I can help you in anyway possible. I followed the advise of one of your reader and donated money to the Middle east children Funds. Hope this agency will be able to deliver some medical supplies to you hospital on time.

We are counting on you as our only source on the ground who speaks on behave of all the civilian population in the Gaza strip.

Why do you waste this precious woman's time and site to write such rubbish as arguing who's right and who's wrong.

There are no simple answers. We do need to pray for peace!

And, God will take care of his people - all his people - Muslims, Christians and Jews!

    Peace, Shalom and Salaam.

We are working diligently and praying for peace in Palestine. I just returned from Bethlehem and I will never give up my role as a "voice" for the voiceless. There really are many of us, who are trying.

Please know we are with you in prayers, love and hope.

    Praying, praying, praying for peace!!!

And, working hard to get the "good" word out about the beautiful people I met while traveling to Palestine in April 2006.

The beauty I saw in the eyes and souls of the people of Bethlehem will always be with me. I pray for Mahoud and his family. I pray for you, Mona. I pray for your safety, and for peace.

  • The arab did not create the refugee problem. The Palastinian were forced out of their homes by terror or trickery. They lived on this land for centuries

Actually they did. The Arabs were awarded about 82% of Palestine in 1948. The Arabs still living in Israeli territory gained full citizenship, however 400,000-500,000 left for other countries by choice (ironically about that same amount was forcibly KICKED OUT of neighboring Arab countries with about a day's notice). The Arabs that stayed were not refugees any more than every newcoming Jew was to the land (technically all refugees themselves...ever heard of something call the Holocaust where Jews had to give up their homes?)

Then every single Arab nation attacked Israel on this day one in 1948 (and the Palestinians Helped). Israel, in this defensive war, won land and gave full citizenship to every Arab inside.

Lived on the land for centuries? Great whatever - they can keep living there as long as they stop trying to kill Jews lol. They have over 75% of Palestine....the size of Israel is about 1/640th of that of the neighboring Arab world... you'd think that's small enough right? Live in peace or go live in some other Arab nation (oh wait i forgot they don't want you hahaha)

  • You're in my prayers, Dr. Mona.

I cannot fathom how someone can justify terrorising children, creating a severe medical and health crisis for 1.3 million people.

Israel continues to show courage and wisdom

    What outrageous rubbish.

Rubbish that is recognisable as rubbish to anyone outside Israel or the United States of America

  • I cannot fathom how someone can justify terrorising children, creating a severe medical and health crisis for 1.3 million people.

"terrorising children" is really a job that Hamas really likes to take...ever heard of Issa Bdeir? Hussam Abdo? Ismail Abu Nada (12), Anwar Ill Azi Mustafa Hamarna (13) and Yosef Basem Yosef Zakut (14)? (I can go on)

you're bringing a crisis upon yourselves. what has hamas done for your country since they came to rule other than steal money from their people, shoot rockets at civilians, and kidnap a soldier....

  • * First i want to talk to you Mona,
Be strong and take care of your people. I can feel your sadness and your fear and there is nothing i can do from here except inform myself and people around me.
Don't play the game of Israel Army, they just want that. Tell around you you're not alone, i mean palestinian peoples. Dont play the game of violence and revenge. I know its so horrible to say that. If my son will be killed by a rocket or else i want to fight too. But its not the solution. Isreal army is really more powerfull than little kids i saw at the news who throw lil'rocks on tanks.
you have to show to the world that you right.
Keep on writting for us as possible as you can. Much Love from where i am and much love to all people around you.

    * Now i want to answer to a lot of this stupid comments...Can't believe what im reading right now

You ALL are stupid...and i am too maybe....but i dont think im stupid like you all.
During your so so interesting talks about who is bad or not...a lot of people are suffering, and you are all playing the same game of stupid palestinian and israelian. Do you read yourself? Damned...
Now we are talking about Arabs and jews? Please gimme a break.
I live in Paris, im a lucky guy. All of you dont live in Gaza and im sure no one want to (that's very sad). Every jews or arabs can be concern i can understand it, but you are not into this, really not.
    I am pro-palestinian.
    Yes i say it.
    I am pro-palestinian.
And please dont tell me that french governement sell weapons to Arafat's troops or other bullshit. Maybe its true maybe its wrong i dont care.
Im carrying about childrens from israel and palestine oh..sorry...this is a racist club..so arabs and jews kids.Oh yeah, arab world is so big so why palestinians stay?
    Damned fools.
Stop telling bullshit about the terrible "Joooooo" as you said, you know what = say the word Jew louder in a bar and you will see how much people are afraid to tell it and talk about it. Cause you just play the game of victims everytime And i got a lot of Jews friends in Paris and a lot disagree what happened now
This soldier is a SOLDIER, he's a war prisonner as the 10 000 palestinians prisonners in Israel? I'm not sure..Really not.
For one soldier? You destroy schools? You destroy all necessity capacity and needings of civilians? Yes it's'certainly kids and grandmother ("When an old people died its a library who is burning" African proverb) who kidnapped your SOLDIER.
...Now at this moment, victims are palestinians (i know you don't like to read that hum? People who are in their confortable sofa...yes you, you have no idea what is it to live in Gaza, me too) and maybe there are no dead civils (how can you believe this?) oh..of course a child who lost his two legs is not dead. he dont count in your statistiques...sorry i forget...
No TvCrew inside Gaza, no TvCrew in Cisjordania...And maybe you will see images but...its not true what you can see. And you know that.
I want to say also that news in USA are fake. Its a fact.
Americans = you should read Noam Chomsky , a terrible jooooo as you said, who is pro-palestinian. Incredible? No cause all of you in fact dont want peace, all of you are racists. Thats all. Miikey from edimburgh and mysterious man from Zion (what a provocate name...stupid guy)
I hate zionism, i hate islamism, i hate racism.
Last night, Israel Troops forces take back 3 old colonia in Gaza = Dugit, Nissanit & Elei Sinaï...Nice proof for all civils palestinians...Whatever...When they close colonia, other colonia are opening ttly illegaly on the palestinian ground. Yes...When there will be no more houses, schools and infrastrusture it will be desert place...and that is your best argument to continue illegal colonialism.

Just let me tell you =

After the death of 4 palestinians since last night (yes you should change your infos...), the number of dead people since the beginning of Intifada in September 2000 is 5,134 , maybe 80 or 85% of palestinians. And i think there are more dead that this.

I hope one day you will live together in peace. Really i hope. God knows (whatever the name you call him).
Israel have to stop now !!!! NOW
    N.O.W !!!!!
The soldier will never be free 'till the strikes continues..and israel know that...This soldier is just a good reason to invade again Gaza and Cisjordania.
Maybe he will be killed and to be honnest im very surprise that he's still alive = thats a proof of this sily invasion.I hope Hamas (the legal governemnt of Palestine that the People wants) will not killed this guy and show to the world how much Israel is wrong.
Yes, let's go army with all your military capacity...it will be always kids with rocks in front of you.
    Always.

This is why Arab Muslims have not earned a place in the human family. This is how we know that they are murderers and that their religion is false. Go to the link; it's a mainstream media story about a Muslim Palestinian mother of eight who, like hundreds of others, has decided to abandon her children in order to become a murderess.

Many of us here in Britain are fully aware of Israel's crimes.jfjfp a jewish organization figting for justice for palestinians are putting and advert in the british newspaper The Times to express their anger at the present situation in Gaza. The movement in support of a free independent Palestine is growing here.I know it doesn't alliviate the present pain and anguish but many of us are with you.

...and in the meantime, 3.8 million killed in the Democratic Republic Of The Congo, 300,000 (black Africans) killed in Sudan (by Caucasian Arabs), 500,000 killed in Somalia... ho-hum, we can't blame Israel so let's not even talk about it. Yet you say I'm the (ignorant) racist?

Another day in Gaza... at last Israel has had enough of Kassam rockets being fired into Israel, now they will create a buffer zone to protect Israel, and the idiots can scream "OCCUPATION" like they did when Israel did the same in Lebanon (and will do again soon.)

STILL They won't release Shalit, but hey, IT'S WORTH IT to see "your people starve" in a "humanitarian crisis" by denying Shalit rights hammered out under the Geneva Accords, just to save "pride" and hit DA JOOOZ. And really, for Hamas, this is a win-win situation. They can kill Shalit, make all "their people" suffer, whine for MORE welfare (jizya to those of you that understand) and get MORE idiots to hate Israel.

    But Israel will still win.

What have the children of Sudan done? What have the black Americans done? What have the Maori done? What have the Aborigines done? What have the black South Africans done? What have the refugees of Hong Kong done?

Ah, but the difference is THESE people weren't driven to extremes by idiot scripture-thumping eunuchs, weren't feed a steady diet of hate and cash-ola by the United Nothing, and weren't egged on to violence by "Peace and Justice" dolts the world over.

  • I have a simple question for the throng of Palestinian supporters here. Answer this as truthfully as you can...

Let's just say (hypothetical coming!!) that Israel and the Palestinians work out a deal. Shalit returns home, as do the Hamas lawmakers who were arrested. Hostilities cease. The IDF returns to Israel, and re-openes the border. Humanitarian organizations are encouraged to resume their efforts. And so on, and so on. All is back to the way it was BEFORE this ordeal began.

Can any of the people who frequent this blog (Arab or Jew) honestly tell us that Hamas and its sister terror organizations would not resume their insidious campaigns? The rockets into sovereign Israeli territory? The incursions? The violence?

    Of course not.

This "war" is not about a soldier. This isn't even about Gaza. What no Arabs or arab-sympathizers seem to understand, is that this is a fight for Israel's VERY EXISTENCE. Do any of you think Israel is going to have a sense of humor about its territory being violated and it's people threatened? It's been 58 years that the State has been a fact. Yet Hamas and the rest still chant inciteful songs about the Nakba, and the day of liberation for "ALL" of Palestine.

Israel has withdrawn from Gaza (although I read this morning that this is temporarily no longer true). Everyone on both sides knows that Judea and Samaria are next -- provided that the Palestinians behave as neighbors should. The refugee issue and E. Jerusalem can be negotiated as honest partners for peace. But negotiate with whom??? With Hamas? The governement/terrorist entity sworn to Israeli destruction?

    So I ask you all....

How do we proceed? Israel has a responsibility to its people to remain a viable Jewish State. So once this is over, and we return to a homeostasis that includes more innocents being killed, and rockets fired into a neighboring country, what must be done to finally achieve a just peace?

Perhaps this is a question for Mona?

    ------------

Release the soldier. Recognize and respect your neighbor Israel.

    -Colin

By Blogger Colin, at 7/06/2006 6:09 PM

  • Colin that works both ways you know?

Why does the Israeli army send 3 tropps to every settler. They aren't protecting the palestinians?

They aren't protecting the preists that accompany the Palestinian children?

They don't Usually stop the Jewish settlers from throwing stones at the children or the Preists?

So when the Israeli army refuses to help what does Hammas do?

They attack an Army check point and capture a Army Personal. Protecting their people is what they are suppose to do.

Why is It that you never mention the reasons for the Attacks?

Remember if Israel stayed in the Area that was alotted them then there wounldn't be the problems we today.

Why Does Israel take the money given By the US to subsidize new settlers into the land that wasn't given to Israel?

TOU ALWAYS SEEM TO FORGET THE PART THAT STARTED THE PROBLEMS SETTLERS!

By Anonymous Neutralsam, at 7/06/2006 6:21 PM

  • So considering the situation Im surprised more people dont urge hamas to stop. give up and accept the borders as they are now. wouldnt that be better? if palestinians stop attacking so will israel. But if the palestinians did stop they would have to run their country in peace time. something they dont know how to do i guess. who would they blame for all their problems then?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7/06/2006 6:36 PM

  • I will answer one post to “Anonymous” the “brutal” thinker.

Since he is under the impression Israel has a right to the land I like to educate him how the “promised people” inquired this land: By GENOCIDE

Massacre of "Baldat Al-Sheikh" village ( December 3, 1947) On that day the Jewish "Hagannah" gangs broke into "Baldat El-Shiekh" village and killed massacred the 60 unarmed Palestinians who mostly stayed at home

2- Sa'sa' village massacre on February 15, 1948 The armed Jewish attacked the village and bombed 20 houses with their people.

3- The "Abu Kbeer" village massacre (March 31, 1948) This massacre was perpetrated by terrorists of Hagannah gang, killing people as they tried to escape from their houses

4- The "Lydia " (July 11, 1948) This massacre was perpetrated by an Israeli commandos unit led by Moshe Dayan. When the Palestinians tried to take shelter at "Dahmash" mosque, the Israeli attacked them and killed 176 citizens inside the mosque. The number of people killed at that night hit 426.

5- Massacre of "Albyoon" village (October 29, 1948) The village was attacked by Israeli forces on October 29, 1948. The forces ordered the people to gather in the main square and shot them randomly.

6- The Massacre of "Al-Bana" and "Dair Al-Asad" villages. Israeli forces besieged the two villages and ordered the citizens through microphones to gather in the plain land in between the two villages. The massacre started with killing the young people "first". As described by a UN observer, "Brutal killing was carried out without the least provocation or indication of fury on the part of unarmed citizens" .

7- The massacre of "Qalqelya" village (October 10, 1948) A group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli forces attacked the village that lay on the green line between Israel and the West Bank. When the people defied death boldly, Israel used airplanes and heavy artillery to facilitate its attack and perpetrated a massacre where more than 70 were killed.

That does not even include the famous one Sharon committed in Lebanon.
    -
You see Palestine has been defending their little plot of land since 1947/48 ever since
The (Holocaust) Jew’s decided “Your land is my land”.

So refrain from blowing into the same horn as propagandanist (Zionist).

We, the rest of us who have read and studied history from both sides know better.

By Anonymous Karin, at 7/06/2006 6:55 PM

  • I agree with Karin in one respect -- there have been (and continue to be) brutal thugs on BOTH sides of this. Hamas and its ilk are obvious, but I will also agree that many in the Jewish settler movement are of equal lunacy. They deserve no better than the terrorists.

But no one is interested in the past (Arab or Jewish). What matters now is what is happening today, and what will happen tomorrow.

Israel, in something closely resembling the '67 borders will emerge. Or conversely, a viable Palestinian State will emerge from the occupied territories. Karin, are you saying that this isn't enough? What exactly ARE you saying?

  • In 1923, the British divided the "Palestine" portion of the Ottoman Empire into two administrative districts. Jews would be permitted only west of the Jordan river. In effect, the British had "chopped off" 75% of the originally proposed Jewish Palestinian homeland to form an Arab Palestinian nation called Trans-Jordan (meaning "across the Jordan River"). This territory east of the Jordan River was given to Emir Abdullah (from Hejaz, now Saudi Arabia) who was not even an Arab-"Palestinian!" This portion of Palestine was renamed Trans-Jordan. Trans-Jordan and would again be renamed "Jordan" in 1946. In other words, the eastern 3/4 of Palestine would be renamed TWICE, in effect, erasing all connection to the name "Palestine!" However, the bottom line is that the Palestinian Arabs had THEIR "Arab Palestinian" homeland. The remaining 25% of Palestine (now WEST of the Jordan River) was to be the Jewish Palestinian homeland. However, sharing was not part of the Arab psychological makeup then nor now.
Encouraged and incited by growing Arab nationalism throughout the Middle East, the Arabs of that small remaining Palestinian territory west of the Jordan River launched never-ending murderous attacks upon the Jewish Palestinians in an effort to drive them out. Most terrifying were the Hebron massacres of 1929 and later during the 1936-39 "Arab Revolt." The British at first tried to maintain order but soon (due to the large oil deposits being discovered throughout the Arab Middle East) turned a blind eye. It became painfully clear to the Palestinian Jews that they must fight the Arabs AND drive out the British. The Palestinian Jews were forced to form an organized defense against the Arabs Palestinians.... thus was formed the Hagana, the beginnings of the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF]. There was also a Jewish underground called the Irgun led by Menachem Begin (who later became Prime Minister of Israel). Besides fighting the Arabs, the Irgun was instrumental in driving out the pro-Arab British. Finally in 1947 the British had enough and turned the Palestine matter over to the United Nations.
The 1947 U.N. Resolution 181 partition plan was to divide the remaining 25% of Palestine into a Jewish Palestinian State and a SECOND Arab Palestinian State (Trans-Jordan being the first) based upon population concentrations. The Jewish Palestinians accepted... the Arab Palestinians rejected. The Arabs still wanted ALL of Palestine... both east AND west of the Jordan River.
On May 14, 1948 the "Palestinian" Jews finally declared their own State of Israel and became "Israelis." On the next day, seven neighboring Arab armies... Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Yemen... invaded Israel. Most of the Arabs living within the boundaries of the newly declared "ISRAEL" were encouraged to leave by the invading Arab armies to facilitate the slaughter of the Jews and were promised to be given all Jewish property after the victorious Arab armies won the war. The truth is that 70% of the Arab Palestinians who left in 1948 – perhaps 300,000 to 400,000 of them – never saw an Israeli soldier! They did not flee because they feared Jewish thugs, but because of a rational and reasonable calculus: the Jews will be exterminated; we will get out of the way while that messy and dangerous business goes forward, and we will return afterwards to reclaim our homes, and to inherit those nice Jewish properties as well. They guessed wrong; and the Arab Palestinians are still tortured by the residual shame of their flight. Their shame is so great because in their eyes running from Jews was like running from women. So much for the blatant lie about Jews throwing out all the [Palestinian] Arabs!

The remaining 30% either (1) saw for themselves that these Jews would fight and die for their new nation and decided to pack up and leave or (2) were driven off the land as a normal consequence of war.

When the 19 month war ended, Israel survived despite a 1% loss of its entire population! Those Arabs who did not flee became today's Israeli-Arab citizens. Those who fled became the seeds of the first wave of "Palestinian Arab refugees."

The Arab propagandists and apologists almost never mentioned that in 1948, Arab armies launched a war against a one-day-old Israel. Instead he focused on the main consequence of that war: the creation of Arab refugees, stating that Israel "short of genocide" expelled 800,000 of them. This not only disagrees with UN estimates of a bit over 400,000 refugees but also ignores the fact that most of the Arabs/Palestinians were encouraged to leave by the Arab World itself!

  • 80 Palestinians have been killed so far!
    12 Today have died!
Lets see what Israel does now that a foreign observer force to monitor the truce is called for.
Lets see if they really want PEACE.

The Palestinian June 25 raid was its response to continued IDF daily attacks against Gaza throughout June that killed about 30 people, injured many more and caused much destruction of property. Following the incident, the IDF launched "Operation Summer Rain" that included closing all border crossings, sealing off the territory to restrict movement in and out including humanitarian supplies such as food and medicine, and surrounding the territory awaiting orders to launch a major assault which it's now begun. The IDF has also stepped up its artillery shelling that has gone on continually for months. It's been firing 200 - 300 or more shells per day into northern Gaza, many close to civilian homes. It's also launched round the clock air attacks with F16 fighter jets and helicopter gunships firing air-to-surface missiles and dropping one-ton bombs on civilian facilities; it's conducting mock air raids; and it's aircraft are breaking the sound barrier over Gaza at low altitudes deliberately inflicting eardrum shattering and terrifying sonic booms against the helpless people.

...Let's see what Hamas did not do.... Number one, they did not liquidate the corporal, which Israel routinely does, namely its political assassinations. That's a war crime under international law. Israel routinely does that. ...Number two, they didn't kill the corporal while trying to arrest him. Israel routinely does that

There are many Palestinians who are angry and want revenge. But there are also Palestinians, including people I met in Jerusalem and Gaza, who condemn the killing of Israeli civilians. There are many Israelis who are afraid for their lives and see a military response as the only solution, but there are also those who think differently. One man, whose teenage daughter, Smadar, had been killed in a suicide bombing in September 1997, said to me: "I could have made my grief a tool for hatred, but I decided to make it a platform for change." Ariel Sharon, Yasser Arafat and George Bush must listen to the calls of the victims, and put respect for human rights and humanitarian law at the centre of political negotiations.

He says the concept of a large international observer force being deployed to keep peace between Israel and the Palestinians is anathema to most Israelis.

WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE?

WHY DO THEY INSIST THAT ONLY US CIA OPERATIVES BE INVOLVED?

  • One other thing beoffre I go, The Two US soldiers beheaded in Iraq, Why were they beheaded?

The same unit that the soldiers that broke into the 14 year old girls house in the night dressed in black and killed the Family raping her and setting her on fire were from.
Thats why we know about it because during counseling TWO US SOLDIERS came clean and told about what their fellow soldiers did that night.

Was that justice from the Family? What would you do if the people who did that to your family were above the LAW?

  • Sea,

Don't know where you got your information. Sounds mighty made up to me. Everything you state about the time Israel was created is wrong. This is all typical Zionist propaganda and your mind has been skewed to it since your beginning days. Tell me where did you get your information to back up these lies?

  • Colin, you racist little zionist, you: what does this mean?:

"martyrs" (complete with 72 virgins waiting for them) who blow themselves up at the family dinners of Jews, and expect a positive result as agents of change."

You're a bit sad and numb from all the sick twisted cliches you keep spitting out like a typical Zionist robot.

You are putting words and intentions into Arab Muslims mouths and minds as if you know them better than you know your own pathetic zionist self.

The 72 Virgins has been a ploy by the Zionists to make Arabs look foolish. That's right. You sub-humans take any little scrap and use it to your advantage.

Murdering Arabs and their children is so much easier, isn't it, when you can fool the North American public with your take on the Arab mind?

Why, I believe you need a nice fat gold Star of David smashed on your four-head for your grand and "noble" Zionistic speech.

However, I don't think that King David would be impressed with the likes of you considering that he was NOT a Zionist and would certainly not approve of the so-called Jewish people who support their death-cold Israeli government and its atrocities against HUMANITY.

    Wouldn't you agree?
