  • I wish I could go with you Mona!! In what capacity do you make these visits? As physician? Human Right worker? Tell the people, there are folks far away who supoort and love them ... that they are NOT AT ALL forgotten!
    You're doing a MARVELLOUS JOB!!!
    Big hug ...

  • Hi Mona

Heres a Canadian stuck in Gaza with you who didn't beleive things were so bad here!! Now I'm sitting here in the dark in the middle of Gaza listening to the Drones and the Apachis (thank god the Sonic booms seem to have stopped) and wondering who is going to die tonight? Will it be a fighter/what ever anyone likes to call them (doesn't matter in the scheme of things does it, what they are called since the little shows of force they manage do little damage but bring 100 times the force back and Israel/western TV manages to make it seem like they blew up half of Israel) or will kids get in the way again? I hate to say it but I honestly wish the whole of Gaza, West Bank and Israel would just slowly sink into the sea. Give everyone time to get themselves and their stuff out and go find a life somewhere else.. It seems the only way to stop people stupidly fighting over a piece of land that could just as easily been shared. Palestinians on the whole would be a great asset to any country and so would most Israelis unless they decide to go and confiscate another country. I just want to know why humans can't resist drawing lines on the earth and insisting people stay on one side or the other of those lines? Most of us beleive god created all humans but also think he has favourites, why? What kind of God loves some of his children and not others? I'm glad my kids are not getting the whole Gaza experience though, Wish no one needed to experience it but on the other hand I wish the whole Isreali population could switch places with the entire palestinian population for a week!! After that I think the situation would be solved immediately for fear the switch could happen perminently!!
