Gaza is like a small prsion where alot of people trapped there don't have the right to leave or to move freely even for an urgent emergency. In the time when my first semester very closed to be finished in three months, painfully I think how can I manage to get with my family to spend my vocation with them. What is happening there is a disaster, so we have to start negotiating or compromising in order to solve the bullshit in Gaza. I am sorry to hear some party are holding the right of return of the refugees, however if the borders of gaza were opened most of the people will get out from there. I mean we have to find an urgent solutions for that, and someting else I forgot to mention, In these days Somebday told me that Gaza concidered one of the terrorist regions in the world, the third one. many things should be done by the palestinians to maintain peace in the area which is to disarmed the people who don't need these massive weapons.
love,AhmadAhmadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14747853109640185770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24531546.post-4508206363094737082008-02-19T18:23:00.000+02:002008-02-19T18:23:00.000+02:00Dear Mona,I was really moved by Ahmad's comments. ...Dear Mona,

I was really moved by Ahmad's comments. To think, there are so many people there who have lived there their entire lives and never been allowed to leave. We in the US do not know the truth of what is happening in Gaza. The internet should give us an opportunity to get the story out and make it known to all.

I stay in touch with the news there and discuss issues on a forum on a website in the US called beliefnet. Anyone can sign up/register on the website and get involved with the discussions. I encourage you to visit the website, provide input, encourage others in Gaza to visit the website and tell the people here what is happening in Gaza.
Here is the website link.
http://community.beliefnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7967&page=16

I am praying for peace in Gaza and an end to the occupation and an end to injustice for all of you, Sherri Munnerlynsherrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10809434303978946136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24531546.post-85103612369425021062008-02-16T07:02:00.000+02:002008-02-16T07:02:00.000+02:00first of all I'd like to introduce my self, i am a...first of all I'd like to introduce my self, i am ahmad from palestine, gaza strip, am a17 years old .Deeply I would like to thank Dear mona,After I have been granted a schollarship to study in the united world college in Norway before 8 months even I haven't had my secodary school grade, I was very young to be responsible enough, however I hadn't been to any country before, In the time the situation in gaza strip was extremely bad , all the borders were closed and I give up hope to get out to attend the college, the Norewgian embassy helped me after that to get out from Erez border, it was wered first when I enterd and with my tears and my mother words still in my mind, I enterd leaving behind me my land which i used to be in. I wasn't afriad or scared because am going to the isreali check point, but i felt homesick from the first moment i left. after i enterd the border my heart started to beat, the first time i will see the isreali people face to face to get the barrier away, i enterd with all my confidence in spite of the insulted precders which they applied on us, i realized what means to be one of the people who are waiting for a fucking permisson to allow you to go through many X-rays check which causes cancer for instance, I was sad because of the old sick people who are waiting and waiting to be kicked out in the end, i tried to help those old people by reasuring them and carry thier staff and help them to walk in a place all the human rights are violated wihtout any response from the whole world. After they gave me the permission to move after suffering for 16 hours in the border, My journey started from that point(Erez)though many palestiaian occupied cities, with a surprising feeling I was looking at my land which i can't move freely in , yes i saw Alqouds and many other places i dreamed to go to all of life but from behind a car window, 4 hours with my check points in the road i have met was unforgetten and has a deeply meaning for me. finally I got to the college which has students from all the countries, and i have the chance to defend my piont of view as a palestinian toward all the people to show how is the situation and the Military siege and the violation of human right in palestian, I still know my task toward my country and people and still ready to do any thing to raise awareness among people, I am a gazan citizen who live in the eastern part of gaza and am completly realized what means to under the occuption dosen't have any value for human right principles, our areas exposed lots of time to many invasion and attacks, and I and my family know what is our duty,I have lost three of my cousins, tow of them were before gaza one month left. I would like to thank everybody for sharing their idea and my faitful apreciation Appreciation to Dear Mona.
