Charade.
For months we hear from you and others that Gaza is a big prison , that Gaza is under ocupation.
Since I have never been in Gaza I had no idea if this was true or not.
For months I was told Israel controlled Gaza borders.
And I somewhat believed.
Untill a few days ago when news surfaced that palestinians had clashed with egyptian police near rafah.
Since egyptian riot police is not controlled by Israel..., it was clear that unlike palestinians and others claim israel did not control all Gaza borders.
Today I got further confirmation.
"The current situation is only an exception and for temporary reasons," Zaki an high egyptian oficial said said. "The border will go back to normal."
"Back to normal..."; I thought to myself.
Back to being a big prison as palestinians claim Gaza is , I asked myself

Egypt could have helped the palestinians, Egypt has a border with Gaza..., and egypt to let any help through their border.
Gaza might be a big prison but its a prison with 2 doors , one leading to Israel another leading to Egypt and Egypt does refuse to open the door of Gaza.
To claim Gaza is under ocupation is not true.
This is all the more shocking since the egyptians claim they are the champions of the palestinians but actually they do not let any help to arrive in Gaza through their doors.
Egyptians are more interested in creating trouble for Israel than to solving the crisis in Gaza and helping the Gazans.
Deep inside themselves many arabs are blind with hate against the Zionists, Israel.
Instead of improving living conditions in Gaza they insist in creating the worst situation possible.
Egyptians refuse to help Gazans and keep israeli blockade.

I found your blog and cried when I read this entry. I pray for the Palestinian people everyday and freedom from their OCCUPIER. I have no right to complain about how cold I am, how tired I am, how I can't get anything done. I have been humbled by your entry.

The argument we gazans are much worse off than people of Sderot is no argument. The issue is not a contest to see who is worse off . The issue is , both sides could be better off if they stop shooting.
Palestinians want to things that are dificult to reconcile. Palestinians believe they have the right to resist by whatever means and next they complain Israelis are the agressor.
They behave like a child that starts a fight and next complains that he got punched in the face.
This has happenned since 1947.
In 1947 Israel was attacked by arab armies but next arabs complain Israel had grabbed most of palestine.

Palis are always ready to punch the Israelis but never ackowledge their responsability in the conflict.
Since 47 palis have been blaming the israelis for all the evils that befall them.
This is understandable since Israel was created in palestinian land but its time for people to move and try to built a better future.

Gazans can demonstrate against israeli blockade of airpace or about the blockade of the coast but they cannot claim israel does control their boarders.
Israel does control its borders , not all Gaza borders.
For good reasons gazans are not happy with Israel but peace is the solution, not Qassans.
This is obvious for anyone that look at the conflict with a cool head.

The settlers have gone by israel has never left Gaza . it closed ALL its exists , and controls its borders, air space and sea front . how can gazans do business and sell their produce or import anything if all exists are shut ? the ONLY Palestinian electricity generator they had was bombed by israel and to put Gazans under israel control they cant buy from egypt , but HAVE to buy electricity from thier oppressor. Fishermen gets shot at when they are fishing (many sad stories on google) how can you call that freedom ?
YEs hamas was chosen and trusted but the DOnations and AiD was immmediately stopped . Even simple donations from Arab citizens have been stopped by America and Arab bank. (dont talk to me about begging because israel continues to get US aid , and Jewish generous donors n and AIPAC et.. without any problem even though israel is a rich nation with a thriving economy )
Hamas can not print money or perform Miracles , if the donations from US , EU , and Arab nations continued , it would be a success story and that would frighten Jordan and egypt (where Muslim brotherhood are a lot more popular than the US stooges in Goverment ) Gaza has never been freed . the tanks surround it and the Apaches fly overhead every single day
