So many people; so much misery. a solution to the situation is imperative. But first, I would like to comment on your belief of where your problems arise. <BR/>You continue to describe Gaza as under siege - but we both know that is not the case. What kind of siege is it where the attackers allow food, medicine, gas and electricity to enter the besieged territory, and accept the enemies' sick into their hospitals? What attacker would allow the besieged country to send rockets into their cities...<BR/>without retaliating?<BR/>You should count yourselves lucky that your attackers is Israel, and not Egypt or some other Arab country. If that were the case,the "siege" would not last long - you would all be quickly wiped out!<BR/>No, you are not under siege; but you are HELD HOSTAGE by your government - Hamas.<BR/>You must deliver food to the needy because Hamas has not, and does not plan to set up an infrastructure that will create jobs and commerce. They persist in attacking Israel, and there is the reason for your shortages:<BR/>1) Hamas spends its money (lots of it) on arms and military action, and none to relieve the needs of Gazan citizens.<BR/>2)Israel, to protect itself, prohibits any material that might be used against them, to enter Gaza,and that covers lots of material. They are very careful about admitting sick people for treatment there because there are many known instances where terrorists have disguised themselves as sick people in order to enter, then attack Israel.<BR/>There is an answer. Hamas was elected democratically, and can be deposed the same way. Does Hamas, (who Gaza residents freely elected) do they not carry the blame also? Israel wants to be safe too. And not worry about suicide bombers. I watched a film on current tv - filmed by a Gaza resident. He blames Hamas for the streets being unsafe. God Bless you in all you do and I do pray for your safety and for all in Gaza and Israel.
